Join us June 6, 2019, for a special luncheon meeting of the Compact.

The meeting, which will be held at The Conference Center at OCLC, 6600 Kilgour Place, Dublin, Ohio 43017 (Ph: 614.764.6000) will begin with registration at 11:30 am and a networking lunch at 11:45, followed by a presentation by Kristin Souers, author of Fostering Resilient Learners: Strategies for Creating a Trauma-sensitive Classroom (ASCD, 2016).

Ms. Souers has expertise in complex trauma, the effects of violence, crisis management, counseling, and trauma-informed care. Ms. Souers, who is an independent consultant and adjunct faculty member at the Gonzaga University School of Education in Counselor Education, regularly consults with education organizations across the country on issues related to the development of trauma-informed practices. Her presentation, which will allow for interaction and dialogue, will conclude by 2:30 pm.
