The submission period for this RFA has expired.

The Ohio Deans Compact released a request for application (RFA) on June 14 seeking applications from four-year institutions of higher education (IHEs) interested in submitting proposals in one or both of the following two priority areas:

Priority Area 1: Redesigning/strengthening Reading Core Courses

Priority Area 2: Redesigning/strengthening TESOL Core Courses

Proposals submitted in response to the new RFA will be due on August 9, 2021. The anticipated notification of applicants would be by September 20, 2021 with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2021.

In order to be eligible to apply under this competition, IHEs must attend a virtual bidders’ conference, which will be held on June 28 at 10:00 am. Note that while interested IHEs must send a representative to the bidders’ conference, that representative does not have to be the prospective principal/co-principal investigator.

The virtual meeting took place June 28, 2021.

Proposals will be accepted beginning at noon on June 28 through this website and will be considered using a two-phase panel review process.
