Focus of the Forum

Participants will learn to:

  • Select important words and terms (i.e., vocabulary) to teach
  • Use evidence-based practices to boost student vocabulary
  • Support reading fluency with high-quality instruction and distributed practice
  • Design meaningful math fluency for math facts and computation

Who Should Attend

All ODE-funded tutoring grant team members (faculty and staff, district-school partners, candidates/others serving as tutors) and all others interested in accelerating learning through effective tutoring.
