Focus of the Forum
Participants will learn to:
- Select important words and terms (i.e., vocabulary) to teach
- Use evidence-based practices to boost student vocabulary
- Support reading fluency with high-quality instruction and distributed practice
- Design meaningful math fluency for math facts and computation
Who Should Attend
All ODE-funded tutoring grant team members (faculty and staff, district-school partners, candidates/others serving as tutors) and all others interested in accelerating learning through effective tutoring.
